True Chevy legends endure, and folks will see the result when the curtain goes up on October 29, revealing the 2019 COPO Camaro. These hand-built cars are not street-legal since each variant offers an NHRA-legal roll cage and other safety equipment together with a race-enhanced chassis consisting of struts in front and a living-axle at the back-end.

The variant seen here is serial number 01 of 69, and is shown sporting an LSX Small Prevent-based 350 engine topped by a Whipple Businesses 2.9-liter twin-attach supercharger. The car’s NHRA horsepower ranking is 580 HP at a hefty 8,000 rpm. The powerplant is mated to an ATI Racing Items TH400-style three-speed automatic.
