Edge Products’ third-generation Insight CTS3 digital gauge monitor has more features and is now faster, slimmer and Wi-Fi compatible.
The Insight CTS3 works with 1996-and-later vehicles that are equipped with an OBDII port. It can display hundreds of different combinations of gauges in either digital or analog-style format, in either metric or U.S. units.
It can be updated with Wi-Fi and can be set to provide audible and/or visual alerts. The screen can be configured to view all the vital vehicle parameters at once or just the ones you want to view. The CTS3 has a diagnostic scan tool built in with the ability to display injector balance rate and scan the display codes and the full code description.
For trucks, the CTS3 can link up accessory vitals, such as auxiliary lights, air compressors, and more. For diesel trucks, a turbo timer feature allows the truck to keep running after it’s shut off, letting the oil in the turbo cool down (requires EAS accessory, sold separately).
A performance-testing feature lets the user view and log the vehicle’s 0-60, 0-100, quarter-mile or one-eighths mile. The five-inch HD touchscreen automatically adjusts to changing light conditions. The CTS3 monitor also can be configured via the color mixer screen to change up the view.
