ACT Releases SFI-Approved 1993-1997 Camaro/Firebird Clutch Kits

Advanced ClutchTechnology (ACT) has released a pair of new clutch kits for the 1993-1997 Chevrolet Camaro and Firebird variants outfitted with LT1 and LT4 engines. The new kits include heavy duty pressure plates, a choice of discs, structurally reinforced release bearings, pilot bearings, and alignment tools for each. Heavy duty pressure plate incorporate hardened diaphragm fingers to reduce wear, thereby providing significant increases in clamping force over stock units.
ACT Street clutch kits combine heavy duty pressure plates and spring centered street discs. The approach features organic friction materials able to withstand increased abuse, and steel-backed linings engineered for quicker shifting
